What is the Champions League:

Mindsports Champions League is a new competitive platform, where schools can compete to become the ultimate champions in chess, word games and Go. Using our platform, we enable schools to play from the comfort of their classroom, challenging other schools anywhere in their nation.

Once registered as a full member*, entrance to the tournament is free, schools have the chance of becoming regional champions. Or a World Mindsports League Champion!

*You can get a full membership by signing up as a single member for $16 or a school membership for $125 for 25 student memberships.

How Does It Work?

Schools can enter up to 5 teams across chess, word games and Go. The initial structure will be a local round-robin: game matches with 2 teams from the same school will be avoided where possible. Once the draw is done each team plays all other teams, and the top two teams will advance to the next round - regionals, followed by nationals.

Nationals will be a knock-out tournament played at a live venue (Events center to be confirmed). Previously, we have held these events at Manchester United, Stoke City Football Club and the London Excel Centre.
